Exciting projects are on the horizon, and we need someone to bring them to life! As we expand, we’re planning to erect a 1,000ft² workshop, expand our community kitchen by 600ft², and construct multiple worktrade cabins. These structures will not only serve our community but also provide spaces for events, programs, and volunteer opportunities aimed at fostering personal and collective growth.
At Rainbow Bridge Hawaii, we’re not just constructing buildings; we’re crafting a vision of interconnectedness, compassion, and transformation. Nestled on 86 acres of the breathtaking Hamakua Coast, just 17 miles north of Hilo, our intentional community is a haven for healing and communion with nature.
Our close-knit family of around 12 individuals shares meals, responsibilities, and a profound commitment to our mission: to model relational transformation and deepen our connection to each other and the land. We envision Rainbow Bridge as a space for empowerment, healing, and growth, where outsiders can join us in experiencing the beauty of compassionate and responsible living.
We’re seeking a Construction Lead who has general contractor and project management experience, along with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Experience living in a community is a plus.
