The Construction Foreman leads day-to-day build activities at Rainbow Bridge, taking direction from the Construction Manager and the Executive Directors. This role is service-oriented and aligned with Rainbow Bridge’s mission and values. You’ll translate plans into clean execution, maintain a safe and efficient site, and guide a small crew (skilled and unskilled) to deliver quality work. The role of the garden lead is to nurture abundance from the vegetable gardens at Rainbow Bridge. The individual should be experienced in crop management, natural farming, and permaculture systems. They need to have strong communication skills and the ability to hold energetic ownership over a large garden space. This role will direct and educate unskilled work traders and “garden day” guests in maintenance, turnover of crops, food harvesting, and processing. The Garden Lead will work closely with the land manager while transitioning responsibilities, and will take direction from the land manager and executive directors.

Skills required are handyman experience, problem solving, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills(non-violent communication/emotional awareness). Preference given to individuals with mechanical expertise/experience.
